My mother is in this care-home and they have not endeavoured to trace her address book, so that her friends can be informed of her new place of residence...she's been there 18 months and her friends probably think that she is dead. I wrote to the manager of the care home in the late summer about a few issues and when I chased up a reply they denied receiving the letter. I therefore put in an official complaint, which has now been upgraded and is being investigated at a higher level. Do you homework on this care-home is my advice.

The Staff here are marvelous ,very caring with the residents which shows each time we visit A lovely atmosphere all through the home .Always keep us up to date with phone calls if any problems . Mum says she is happy here and that's what counts .The meals always look appetising

The staff are excellent, very understanding and caring. I trust Hungerford House will do their very best to care for the well-being of my parents in a safe environment and I have nothing but praise for what can be a challenging nature of dementia residents.

Incredible staff, so attentive, loving and caring. Especially Elaine, she couldn’t do enough for my Grannie and all the visiting family. The building doesn’t look anything special from the outside but the interior is lovely and bright and nicely decorated. Sadly my Grannie just passed away, but I can’t thank the staff enough for looking after her so well.
